Karen Reedy, a 2008 recipient of the John F. Kennedy Center for
the Performing Arts' Local Dance Commissioning Project has been granted this
prestigious award to support the creation of a new work for the Millennium
Stage. Reedy's Premiere, Sleepwalking, incorporates the
audience into her dreamscape that addresses falling asleep, insomnia, lullabies,
"sweet dreams", and nightmares.
